Energy Analysis

In order to assist the customer in reducing the electrical costs associated with an industrial plant or commercial business we offer an analysis of the existing electrical system and we propose possible solutions. This service may consist of any combination of the following, depending on the customer’s particular requirements.

1. Visual inspection and location of components within the facility.
2. Creation of a basic drawing of the electrical system with major components identified, and conduit routing noted.
3. Analysis of recent electric utility bills, including demand charges and penalty fees.
4. Observation and measurement of current harmonics and suggestions for mitigation equipment where appropriate.
5. Thermal imaging inspection of critical heat-producing components, including a thorough report showing readings, potential problem areas, and proposed solutions.
6. Examination of existing lighting systems, including:
1. Measurement of illumination levels in current environment, evaluating employee needs.
2. Creation of a sample drawing showing types of lighting equipment in use, as well as room dimensions, surface characteristics, and equipment identification.
3. Presentation of a revised lighting plan designed to:
• Provide improved illumination levels for each scope of work
• Reduce total energy consumption of the lighting system
• Project operating costs, maintenance costs, and return on investment
