Bren-Cool

One of the major cost factors associated with an industrial or commercial building is the heating and cooling of the structure’s interior. In warm climates summer temperatures can strain HVAC systems to the breaking point, and winter heating bills in cold areas can be budget-busters. In accepting the challenge presented by this problem, the research and development team at Brenco Energy Concepts reasoned that the most effective solution would be to minimize the heat transfer between the building’s interior spaces and the exterior panels that comprise the walls and roof.

The development of Bren-Cool, a white elastomeric ceramic coating material with exceptional reflective and insulating qualities, proved to be the answer.

Power Quality Transformers

Most states allow electric utility companies to charge non-residential customers a separate fee, over and above the cost of electricity used, based on the peak demand the customer required at some point in the past. The theory is that the customer may need that amount of power again at some point, so the utility reserves that amount for future use. Because of this “demand charge” most firms pay a large amount each month for power they never actually use. In actuality, with the high number of computers, lights, and electronically-controlled machinery in today’s industrial/commercial environment, these peak demand periods were very possibly caused by harmonics within the power distribution system. Brenco Energy Concepts trained personnel can evaluate your electrical system to determine if there is a harmonics problem associated with  existing power transformers. If problems are found we can custom-manufacture and install transformers to minimize harmonics within the system, resulting in lower electric bills.
