Green & Kleen Oil Filtration Systems

Green & Kleen Filtration System (Kleenoil) is a bypass oil filter, working in concert with your standard filter that passes only a small portion of the total oil flow through a very dense filter cartridge at about 2 to 3 quarts per minute. At this speed, it is possible to remove particles down to 1 micron and remove most water, greatly decreasing engine wear and prolonging oil life. Green & Kleen can greatly reduce water and particle contamination, extend oil life up to 5 times and hydraulic oil up to 10 times, reduces engine wear and component wear and dramatically reduces downtime. 

The system is connected to the engine lubricating oil circulating system in a bypass loop using high pressure braided hose and fittings to SAE standards.  While the filtration unit is extracting water and contaminants, it is continuously safeguarding the desirable elements contained within the actual oil in use. These typically include, dependent upon brands in use, dispersants, detergents, oxidation and rust inhibitors, metal de-activators, pour-point depressants, viscosity improvers, lubricity agents, fungicidal, anti-foaming and gelling additives. These additives are held in suspension and their levels can be critical if the oil is to maintain its beneficial qualities.

ISO 4406 Contamination Study Chart

Studies have show that for each grade the ISO code is lowered; the life of a hydraulic component can be doubled or tripled! 

This study shows that new oil is approximately rated at 18/15.  Green & Kleen bypass filters will attain ISO 4406 to a standard of less than 14/11!
